CSK may have to face problems in the opening matches, it can be two players out
Chennai Super Kings may face problems in the opening matches of the IPL. Because Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batsman Rituraj Gaikwad, who was found to be Kovid-19 positive last month, will have two more tests from Sunday and he might be out of the opening matches of the Indian Premier League. It is being told that 13 members of the CSK team were found to be Corona virus positive and also included two players Rituraj and Deepak Chahar.
Apart from 11 others, Chahar has also started training after recovering from the virus. So before that, he had two tests in which Chahar came negative. On Sunday, CSK CEO Kasi Vishwanathan said, "Rituraj will have two more tests as per rules, today and tomorrow. If he is found negative, he will be associated with a biologically safe environment in the team hotel.
Rituraj is to be tested on Sunday and Monday, after which he can replace Suresh Raina in the team, but for this CSK may have to wait a bit. On the other hand, due to personal reasons, Suresh Raina has withdrawn his name from IPL season-13.
